BLOODSIMPLE: 'We Are NOT Touring With SEVENDUST'

December 20, 2006

BLOODSIMPLE, which features in its ranks former members of VISION OF DISORDER and MEDICATION, is currently recording its second album at Machine Shop studio in Hoboken, New Jersey with producer Machine. Despite previous reports to the contrary, the group has revealed that they will not be going on tour with SEVENDUST as they are still looking for a drummer. "We're putting the finishing touches on the record this week and will mix it first thing in January 2007, then wait on official release date and touring plans which will hopefully be in March," the band writes on its MySpace page. "As far as the DVD goes, we hope to have it released in February. Wanted to get it out this month but the record took priority so it's taking a bit longer, but don't worry, it'll be a good one!"

BLOODSIMPLE's debut album, "A Cruel World", was released in March 2005 on MUDVAYNE singer Chad Gray's Bullygoat label imprint (via Warner Bros.). The CD was recorded in Vancouver B.C. with producer Garth Richardson, who has previously worked with RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, MUDVAYNE, SLIPKNOT and CHEVELLE. The album was mixed by Mike Fraser (HATEBREED).
